New Brunswick City Center restaurants are as diverse as they are exceptional and now you have the perfect excuse to get out of the kitchen heat and eat out!

Blue Crabs in Marinara with Spaghetti, Clams, Garlic Mussels, Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, Wine and Aperitivi! Sunday, August 4, we party Catherine Lombardi style. It is a joyous summer tradition in the Lombardi family: blue crabs tossed in bright, fresh marinara and served over spaghetti. Is it messy? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. The sauce gets a little crabby. The crabs get a little saucy...and all is right with the world. You see that parade of delicious booze on top? Those are Italian Aperitivi (and Digestivi) - The Best Ones! To drink them on the sidewalk in the summer is to drink like a real Italian. We will be making your standard Negroni and Americano and Aperol Spritz and so much more. The Frozen Aperol Spritz will be in the Frozen Drink Machine. These flavors scream for cocktails...and we know how to make cocktails ($8).  You see that lady above, well that's Lusy Yeghaizaryan and you should click here and hear her sing. Lusy is one of the amazing performers who comes to us through the New Brunswick Jazz Project. She will be performing from 4-7:15.

Jill DeGroff is a roving artist who plies her craft at saloons around the world. Much of her work pays tribute to luminaries in the bar industry, musicians, writers, barflies and all species of cocktailians. . Jill’s books, LUSH LIFE; Portraits from the Bar I and II, are chock full of the colorful characters she has met in bars over the years and the tales they shared. The book received glowing reviews in Time Out NY, Village Voice, The New Yorker, New York Times, Epicurious, and Serious Eats.  Jill lives in Long Island with her husband, James Beard award-winning mixologist Dale DeGroff, whom she credits for getting her started on this unusual journey. Natives of Spain, now residing in NYC, they performed for 12 years at The Metropolitan Opera in "Carmen" at Lincoln Center and currently play for audiences around the world. True ambassadors of Flamenco, they have played for King Juan Carlos & Queen Sofia of Spain, President Menen of Argentina, Billy Joel, Itzhak Perlman, Busta Rhymes, President Arzu of Guatemala, President Clinton, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Placido Domingo, Paco de Lucia, Alec Baldwin, Queen Noor of Jordan, Prince, Tito Puente Their music will transport you to Andalusia Music 4:30 - 7:15 PM Reservations here. Quite a citizen of the world that Mark Pascal.  So this year, we're going to do a little celebrating on Bastille Day! Actually that's what we call it in English-speaking countries. In the Francosphere, it's simply La Fête Nationale.  Our pals at Hennessy are going to be supplying some of their lovely Cognac, with which we will make some extraordinary cocktails.  In the frozen drink machine will be a Frozen Side-Car (Hennessy VS). We'll also feature the French 125 (Champagne, Hennessy VSOP, Lemon, Dreams) and our version of the B2C2, called The Greatest Generation Cocktail (one of our favorite creations. Benedictine, Hennessy VSOP, Cointreau, Champagne, Aperol, Bitters & History) We will also have available 1 oz tastes of Hennessy VSOP (Complimentary), Hennessy X.O. (Complimentary), Hennessy Paradis (at cost $29) and Hennessy Paradis Imperial (at cost $95 or $50 for 1/2 oz).
