A Dew and Brew
...and A Brew

Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is a classic and we made some great fancy cocktails with it. But Irish whiskey is also basic. Maybe 'fundamental' is a better word.
A shot and a beer is nothing to look down one's nose at, especially if the shot is a great quality and so is the beer. The fine folks at Tullamore are pointing that out, with their Dew and A Brew campaign. We love the idea, and we're taking it a step further...because that's what we do.
Dew and a Brew
Sunday, August 6th, come into Stage Left or Catherine Lombardi and order any Tullamore Dew drink (Shots start at $5 - Cocktails at $10) and any accompanying beer is 1/2 off. You know we have a phenomenal selection of 10 beers on draft and over 100 in bottles, including some rare vintage beers.

Francis just returned from Tales of The Cocktail in New Orleans, a week-long conference of about 35,000 bartenders and other liquor folks. Tough job, but someone has to do it. The single most talked about drink was the Frozen Irish Coffee at The Erin Rose bar on Conti Street! To-Go-cups are a thing in New Orleans so you would run into folks you knew on the street with an Erin Rose go-cup and you knew what was in it. No one was shy about asking for a sip and no one was shy about sharing. More germs were swapped among bartenders in-the-know on the streets of New Orleans than at a Sunday Mass. We will be making Frozen Tullamore Dew Irish Coffee in our drinks machine this Sunday and offering them for just $5. Seriously, you have to try this stuff.

Since we like alliteration so much, if you come with your sibling (or fellow member of a fraternal/sororal organization or your in-laws), we will give you both a gift certificate for $10 toward dinner that you can use that night or any time until September 8.
