Our friend David Saint is directing this charming one-act play set rural Ireland. By Pulitzer Prize winning author John Patrick Shanley, this is a romantic comedy about two introverted misfits straddling 40. Painfully shy Anthony has spent his entire life on a cattle farm. Rosemary lives right next door, determined to have him, watching the years slip away. With Anthony’s father threatening to disinherit him and a land feud simmering, Rosemary has every reason to fear romantic catastrophe. But then, in this very Irish story with a surprising depth of poetic passion... well I can’t ruin the ending. Their journey is heartbreaking, funny as hell, and ultimately deeply moving.
On Thursday, October 30th, we’re offering a very special evening. We will provide dinner before the show as well as a meet-and-greet reception afterward with The Cast and some Irish Whiskey Punch. It’s a 90-minute show with no intermission so there’s plenty of time to come and have a glass of punch afterward with the cast. The entire evening is $89 per person.* That includes ticket to the performance, dinner at Stage Left or Catherine Lombardi and a glass of punch at the reception afterward.
