Blind Tasting Night

 

Let me begin by saying that this is all in good fun. It's a bit of a parlor game and not entirely relevant to the enjoyment of wine generally. However, it's going to be a blast!

After all the many wine classes we've taught over the years, Mark and I are finally going to give you all an opportunity to shine, with NO downside and a large possible upside!

If you would like to play along, reserve for dinner in either restaurant and let us know you would like to play. When you get here, order dinner and give us a price cap for a bottle of wine. We will select a bottle of wine within that financial parameter that goes well with your dinner, and we will pour it blind. If your table can accurately guess the 1) Country, 2) Region, 3) Grape Variety and 4) Vintage, we will give you a second bottle of that wine (or any wine on our list of equal value) to take home for free! This applies to any price-point!

It's is our way of celebrating on Halloween weekend. We're disguising the wine; and either we'll trick you into drinking something delightful and unexpected, or we'll treat you to a second bottle from our amazing cellar! Either way, it's better than a candy bar!
